At Avanti restaurant you can do some Bloem-people watching at the downstairs area or get a view over the water in the seating area upstairs. Regardless, come meet with friends, sip a cocktail and enjoy good Italian food.
I like to call it Afro-Euro food – to be more precise, with dishes like Kingklip El Greco (baked in foil with feta, olives and peppers), Gamberi de Paris (10 queen prawns served with Café de Paris butter) and a range of Italian favourites.
Avanti prides itself on being non-pretentious, allowing you to relax and enjoy your food and drink. The wine is proudly South African and there is a range of homemade deli products including Olive Chilli Jam and Sundried Roma Tomatoes… yum!
From here you can go on and explore the rest of the Loch Logan Waterfront, or walk over to Second Avenue for a late night…
